These images were taken during the quarantine in March from the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Taken on St. Augustine Beach between the entrance at Kookaburra coffee shop and the Saint Augustine Pier. St. John’s county beach was one of the only ones open from Georgia to Miami due to social distancing orders across states and beaches. These photos capture the beauty and peace that can exist in the midst of chaos. The sun rises every morning regardless of the events at hand. We can take security in knowing that God has us and is with us no matter what the circumstances may look like. I hope these images bring peace to people’s homes and serve as a memorial to this time in the days that have been hard for many.
